Guangzhou police raided a "black" store suspected of selling fake watches and arrested four suspects, China News Service reported on Tuesday.
Police in Liwan district of Guangzhou, Guangdong province, sealed off the premises in a mall that specialized in watches.
They seized 1,715 fake watches with an estimated value of more than 14 million yuan ($2.3 million), the report said.
The suspects allegedly sold the fake watches, including famous brands, such as Tissot and Seiko, mainly to foreign travelers, the report added.
