A post office with "dream mail" service will be set up in Beijing, postal authorities said.
Dream mail will allow residents to send letters that will be held for delivery until 2020, Beijing Youth Daily reported on Monday.
The post office will start the service within half a year after its construction in a community in Beijing's Xizhimen area.
The dream mail will be stored at the China National Post and Postage Stamp Museum until the letters are delivered in 2020.
The report said that before the dream mail is delivered, senders can change recipients' addresses by logging onto www.bjpost.com.cn.
