China's top judge asked all courts on Wednesday to boost judicial transparency, and make efforts to disclose verdicts online in time.
Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People's Court, said at a conference that technical departments of each court should reduce work procedures and improve technology guarantees, ensuring judgments can be open timely.
Judicial transparency is a major task for the top court, while it is also an important measure to improve legal efficiency and credibility, Zhou said.
Every court in the country must boost transparency, putting judicial procedures, verdicts and implementation online, he said.
In addition, judges should concentrate on tackling cases, reducing unnecessary meetings, training, surveys and business trips, he added.
