Zhang Hongli, vice-president of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), urged the enhancement of the role of the Renminbi and Yen in bilateral trade as most of the trade volume is traded in US dollars. “The Renminbi-Yen exchange and the internationalization of Renmibi is in favor of the economic growth of Japan and better for the future of China-Japan economic cooperation.”
