China reacts with fury to new iPhone launch

Apple's biggest market reacted with online fury on Wednesday after the tech giant launched a low-end version of a product already made in China.

While the rest of the world unveiled the new iPhone, China awoke to the so-called cheaper iPhone, triggering a wave of disappointment across the Pacific.

"Those who previously claimed that Apple would launch a cheap iPhone should be arrested on charged of fabricating rumors," said an Internet user named Duomilang on Sina Weibo.

The "C" of the iPhone 5C should represents cheat, said an online complaint.

Some even played down the giant company's future for lack of creativity and surprise. "The new iPhone 5C ruins the image of Apple," said a micro blogger named "true man-miss green tea" on Sino Weibo.

Another blogger again expressed the loss of the deceased Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, saying that without Jobs, Apple Inc doesn't even know how to sell a phone as a customer who can afford to spend more than 4,000 yuan would never choose to buy a iPhone 5C.
