GUIYANG - Four people have been killed, and another six hospitalized, in a suspected food poisoning case in Southwest China's Guizhou province, local authorities said Friday.
More than 30 ate at a household at about 4 pm Thursday while preparing a funeral for a late villager in Guoshi village, Luosu township in the county of Luodian, and the 10, all male, reported dizziness after the meal, said a spokesman with the county government.
Of the hospitalized, two are in a serious condition, said the spokesman.
Local health experts have been mobilized for treatment and the cause of the case is under investigation.
