No clean getaway for wanted crook
A fugitive with an obsession for cleanliness was captured after he checked into a hotel using his real name so he could have a bath.
Police launched a manhunt for Wang, 42, last year after he kidnapped a man and held him for ransom in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province.
To evade authorities, he hid out in a rented apartment in the nearby city of Ningbo. However, when maintenance crews turned off his water supply in May, the self-confessed "clean freak" moved to a hotel so he could wash.
Police arrived the next day and detained Wang, a native of Hubei province.

Dad calls police on snoozing son
A furious father called an emergency services hotline after his teenage son refused to get out of bed in the morning.
The man, who was not identified, rang police in Huai'an, Jiangsu province, at about 6:20 am on Nov 12 to ask them to wake up his slumbering child.
He said the 14-year-old had complained that it was too early and too cold to get ready for school. After an angry quarrel, the father dialed 110 for help.
Police eventually arrived and took father and son back to the station to cool them down. They were released at about 10:30 am.
