2. Events will be hosted by Nanjing Municipal People's Government

After careful planning and arrangement, with the guidance and support of relevant ministries and commissions, Nanjing has done preparation work earnestly. Now, everything is ready. Now I will introduce some wonderful events of this service outsourcing conference.

1）Launching Ceremony of Chinese International Service Outsourcing Leading & Growing Enterprises & Awarding ceremony for China outsourcing outstanding personages in 2009.

This event is hosted by Nanjing Municipal People's Government, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu province, China Council for International Investment Promotion. China Council for International Investment Promotion will announce the list of Chinese International Service Outsourcing Leading & Growing Enterprises to not only provide a effective channel to make overseas outsourcing buyers well informed of the Chinese outsourcing enterprises and their abilities, but enhance brand name recognition of Chinese outsourcing enterprises as well.

The event consists of two phases: in the morning, the list of Service Outsourcing Leading & Growing Enterprises will be announced and speeches will be delivered by distinguished guests. In the evening, the award of "China outsourcing outstanding personages" will be presented.

The distinguish guests from international service outsourcing advisory institute and top management from prestigious service outsourcing companies, representatives of top 10 Service Outsourcing Leading & Growing Enterprises and winners of Chinese service outsourcing outstanding figures will interpret international service outsourcing market and analyze the new service outsourcing development trend. The awarding ceremony for 2010 China key service and outsourcing enterprises will also be held.

2） 2010 China (Nanjing) International Bio-pharmaceutical Forum

Time: 14:30-17:30 11th June

Place: Jinling Conference Centre, Nanjing International Expo Center

This forum is hosted by China Council for International Investment Promotion and Nanjing Municipal People's government and organized by Economic Information Department of China Council for International Investment Promotion, the Council for International Investment Promotion of Nanjing, Nanjing high and new tech development zone managing committee, Nanjing food and drug administration, and Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. National Society of Medical Scientist-Chinese American Association, Canada China Business Council, Confederation of Indian Industry, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, China Chamber of Commerce of Medicines & Health Products Importers & Exporters, The China Senior Professors Association, Nanjing Pharmaceutical Association, and China Nanjing Medical and Pharmaceutical outsourcing market exploring center are the co-organizers.

Embassies in China, International Conference Forum of Commerce Association, prominent enterprises and R&D institute will be present in the forum.

Representatives from medical and pharmaceutical R&D institute and key enterprises, prominent experts in this field, representatives of bio-pharmaceutical enterprises, medical and pharmaceutical R&D institute, medicine universities in Nanjing and surrounding cities will also participate in the forum.

The conference is under the theme of "Innovation, cooperation and win-win". According to the state's "going out" strategy, we will implement 12 key industries (including bio-technology industry) promoting plan of China Council for International Investment Promotion, establish platform for international communication and cooperation in the field of bio- pharmaceutical field, make bio- pharmaceutical industry in Nanjing more internationalized, accelerate the process of being in line with international advanced production power and promote bio- pharmaceutical industry in surrounding cities and provinces. Issues like the challenges that bio- pharmaceutical industry "going in" and "going out" faced and countermeasure the enterprises should take, the way of innovation in pharmaceutical R&D and industrialization, pharmaceutical outsourcing buying and selling, CRO international certification, and GMP international certification will be discussed in the conference. A visit to Nanjing high and new tech development zone will also be arranged.
