The 3rd China International Service Outsourcing Cooperation Conference (CISOCC) will be held on 11th June. On behalf of the Nanjing Municipal People's Government, I would like to extend my welcome to all the officials, colleagues in the fields, friends of the press here and my sincere gratitude to every personage in all fields of the society for your long-term care and support for service outsourcing industry in Nanjing. Nanjing is a famous city which has a long history and charming culture. The city is integrated with mountain, water, city wall and woods, whose greatness and beautifulness will impress everyone. A poet in the Jin Dynasty described Nanjing as "the most prosperous city in areas south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and an appropriate city for the capital of empire." Nanjing enjoys outstanding science and education resource, convenient transportation, great resident environment, and great advantage in developing outsourcing industries. In recent years, Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Nanjing Municipal People's Government attach great importance to the development of service outsourcing industry and regard developing outsourcing as a strategic measure of comprehensively implementing the scientific concept of development and promoting developing economy rapidly and healthily, a key point to seize the opportunity of world industry shift and industry transformation and update, and a important channel to make the most of the advantage of science and education talents and release the potential of science and technology innovation. In a word, we will try every means to promote the development of service outsourcing industry. In the following part of this speech, I will introduce the opportunities we will offer to the enterprises participating in this conference and several wonderful events organized by us. 1. Opportunities we will offer to the enterprises participating in the conference 1) The seminar on latest policies. During the conference session, The relevant ministries and commissions of the national government like the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Science and Technology will issue and interpret Letter of General Office of the State Council on encouraging the development of service outsourcing industry (Letter of General Office of the State Council 【2010】NO 69). This seminar will make service outsourcing enterprises well informed of the latest change of outsourcing policy as soon as possible, and in turn, promote the development of service outsourcing industry. Top 20 national service outsourcing enterprises will have the chance to communicate with leaders in charge from the Ministry of Commerce concerning policy issues. 2) The match-making meetings for helping domestic enterprises get access to the international market. This conference attracts the interests of prominent overseas and domestic service outsourcing companies, joint ventures, authoritative service outsourcing advisory institute and evaluation institute. Apart from the major events of the conference, the relevant units, counties and districts, development zones will also organize 3 match-making meetings. They are: 1. 2010 China (Nanjing) International Bio-pharmaceutical Forum which is hosted by Nanjing Municipal People's Government and organized by Nanjing high and new tech development zone and Nanjing Council for the Promotion of International Trade. 2. Communication software R&D service sourcing match-making meeting which is hosted by Nanjing Municipal People's Government and organized by Yuhua District, Nanjing International Service Outsourcing enterprises association, Nanjing Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. 3. Press conference on planning of Smart Grid software R&D base which is hosted by Nanjing Municipal People's Government and organized by Jiangning Development Zone. 3) Opportunities of communicating with domestic prestigious enterprises. On the evening of the day when the announcement of top 100 enterprises, we will present award for China service outsourcing outstanding personages in 2009 to honor those entrepreneurs who have made remarkable contribution to service outsourcing industry and encourage more outstanding talents to contribute more to this field. Moreover, this event offers a chance for more small and medium Enterprises to communicate with each other face to face. 4) Opportunities for overseas and domestic enterprises know more about Nanjing and enjoy the first class service of Nanjing. We will organize international service outsourcing enterprises to visit five national demonstration district (Gulou District, Xuanwu district, Yuhuatai District, Nanjing High and New Tech Development Zone and Jiangning Development Zone) and two provincial demonstration zones (Jianye District, Qinhua District). We will also organize them to hold seminars and match-making meetings there. In this way, overseass enterprises will be well informed of the environment of outsourcing industry in Nanjing, and discuss the possibility of making investment in Nanjing. During the conference session, 40 national service outsourcing enterprises with the best comprehensive strength, 40 major service outsourcing enterprises of Jiangsu province and nearly 300 service outsourcing suppliers around Nanjing will assemble in the events.
