The first China-CEEC 16 + 1 Capitals Mayor's Forum closed on September 28 at Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, with more than 140 representatives of Beijing government, business and culture in attendance.
The Forum, during which ten agreements were reached, was intended to link tourism and cultural resources of various countries and offer a platform for 16+1 cooperation.
The nations attending the Forum agreed to establish a permanent dialogue and regular exchange system, encourage 16+1 civil aviation cooperation and support the Central and Eastern European countries in expanding agricultural product and food and service trade with China.
