Aweto, a very expensive ingredient, is often used in traditional Chinese medicine for its healing abilities. The flowers that blooms from aweto (the orange strips in the picture above) is much more friendlier to the wallet but is said to have the same medicinal value as its pricey parent. Dried aweto flowers are available in Chinese medicine stores and supermarkets.
