Death toll of east China car crash rises to 5

NANJING - The death toll of a car crash Monday morning in east China's Wuxi City, Jiangsu province, has risen to five.
A car crashed into several electric bicycles early Monday morning near Nanquanyu Village in Binhu District, killing at least five and injuring another 10, according to police.
Witnesses said the car continued for at least another 500 meters after hitting the first person. It stopped after careering into a street light.
Police have detained the driver. The cause is under investigation.
