Chinese Vice-Premier Liu Yandong meets with Intel Corp CEO Brian Krzanich in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Friday, as one of a series of events of the 6th China-US High-Level Consultation on People-to-People Exchange (CPE).
Liu and US Secretary of State John Kerry will officially kick off the CPE in Washington on June 23.
The CPE promotes and strengthens people-to-people ties between the United States and China in the fields of education, culture, science and technology, sports, women’s issues, and health. It provides a high-level annual forum for government and private-sector representatives to discuss cooperation on exchanges in a broad, strategic manner.
