17:00-18:00 Dine at Shenting Jiujia

After finishing their half-day race against time, participants had their first dinner of the trip at Shenting Jiujia. Located near Fu'an Bridge, Shenting Jiujia is a restaurant famous for serving the Wansan "Eight Bowls", a well-known family feast that is said to have been a favorite meal of Shen Wanshan, the famously wealthy Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) noble.

Diners not only relished a vast array of dishes packed with genuine Zhouzhuang flavors, but soaked in the view of the picturesque water town.

18:30-9:00 Sleep in Qibang village

The second stop of their trip to Zhouzhuang was Qibang village, seven miles outside the center of Zhouzhuang, where participants drew lots to decide which homestay hotel they were going to sleep in.

All of the stars had a good rest in the sedate countryside hotels, each of which was done up in a different style.
