An episode of the online travel-reality TV show Spending Three Days and Two Nights with Strangers has been shot in Zhouzhuang, the famous Chinese water town in Jiangsu province.
The show, as its name implies, features a group of Chinese online celebrities that barely know each other spending three days together on a budget tour of a designated place.
Let's take a look at how the internet stars spent their time in Zhouzhuang ahead of the episode's premiere.
Day 1
13:00-17:00 Earn money
With only 100 yuan ($15) in their pockets, the celebrities embarked on their trip to Zhouzhuang. In a bid to earn enough money to continue their trip, they had to finish a series of challenges within a specified time limit. These included writing a poem themed on Zhouzhuang, finding three foreign visitors to pose for a group photo on the Twins Bridges, and learning Suzhou Pingtan, a traditional storytelling and ballad singing art performed in Suzhou dialect, with local folk performers.
