The 17th Investment & Trade Forum for Cooperation between East & West (ITFCEW) held a signing ceremony on April 5 in Qujiang International Conference Center of Xi'an, Shaanxi.
The contract for the World Famous Brand Park project was signed by Xi'an International Trade and Logisitc Park, the China Chamber of International Commerce and Xi'an Haizhou Industrial Company at the meeting.
The ITFCEW was first held in 1997. The World Famous Brand Park project will be one of the 10 biggest bases for the China Chamber of Commerce to promote importing goods. The project will make use of preferential policies in the bonded zone, featuring high-end imported products, imported machinery, electronics, electronic appliances and decorating materials.
It will serve as a comprehensive experience center with fashion, shopping, wholesale, exhibition, e-commerce, international trade and office areas. The project has a total investment of 6 billion yuan ($974 million). It will also offer an imported goods exhibition and trade area and a recreational area. After completion, the project could create 20,000 jobs, becoming the biggest imported goods exhibition and trade base in inland China.
