Francophone welcomes the celebration of the 65th anniversary of Sino-Swiss relations

According to Bernard Cintas, the concert coordinator for the China tour, some of the accordionists had traveled to Canada and Italy and played in some famous places in those countries.

The orchestra started its China tour on April 2 in Geneva and before today's concert in Beijing, they stopped in Shanghai and Xi'an, capital city of Shaanxi province.

In Shanghai, they performed at the Easter Sunday Mass at St. Francis Xavier, the Dongjiadu Road Catholic Church. In Xi'an they entertained a Chinese audience at the municipal concert hall on April 6.

During the rest of their China tour, the accordinionists will visit the Central Conservatory of Music in Bejing on Friday and give another 70-minute concert at Simatai Great Wall on Saturday. Xu Keqing, a Chinese accordionist, will join them in the concerts.
