World-class opera live at your home
By Lin Hanqing ( chinadaily.com.cn ) Updated: 2013-12-16 13:15:52Chinese people may get a chance to watch performances of Vienna opera live in their home, according to a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Vienna State Opera and Samsung.
The new project, “Opera At Your Home,” also allows audiences who don’t watch the live performance to enjoy a legal copy via the newly-produced Samsung smart TV, saving more time and money.
The Ambassador of Austria, Dr. Irene Giner-Reichl, was at the signing.
