MANILA -- A university in Quezon City in the Philippines' capital region of Metro Manila suspended work and classes on Wednesday due to a bomb threat.

"The Guidon," a student publication of the Ateneo de Manila University said on its Twitter account that all students and employees have already been evacuated.

Local radio station DZMM said three Ateneo employees received text messages about the bomb threat at around 9 am on Wednesday.

Members of the Philippine National Police are currently inspecting the campus.
