The first Chinese group tour to Serbia will take place on Oct 3, marking a breakthrough in Chinese tourism to southeastern Europe.
Planned by the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, the tour will give 24 Chinese tourists three days and two nights in the landlocked Balkan country.
Gordana Plamenac, TOS director, said the tour is so important to Serbia that Serbian government officials will welcome the group of tourists when they arrive.
According to the itinerary, travelers will immerse themselves in popular Serbian destinations such as Belgrade, the bustling capital city, and Novi Sad, the country’s second-largest city, which is the home to the magnificent Petrovaradin Fortress.
