Meanwhile, besides the show, Zhou is keen to establish an Internet platform to promote and distribute the city's farm produce.

"Many farmers don't know how to promote their products. So it is essential to have such a platform to help them communicate with buyers," he says.

One of the ways currently being used to promote the area's agricultural riches is an exhibition.

The exhibition at the village's Agriculture Museum features wax figures of farmers and a newly-wed couple dressed in traditional consumes posing next to stacks of corn.

The museum also has a display of robots - large ones that can dance and small ones that can cook and serve.

There are also tiny robots which can be made to play football on a big desk.

The village is like a theme park that has something for everyone. While city dwellers can try their hand at a spot of farming and even pick vegetables if they want to, children can have fun in the amusement facilities.

Visitors can also sample snacks on offer at the local restaurants and buy souvenirs too.

The facades of the restaurants are decorated with farm tools, such as hoes, to show off the village's agricultural roots.

The meals in the village are like a hotpot spread. There is a large iron pot with food already cooked thoroughly, such as meat and vegetables.

And when dinner is done, the tourists can enjoy a sparkling sky filled with molten iron.
