8 Dolce & Gabbana cleared of tax evasion: After five years of ongoing legal proceedings, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were finally cleared of tax evasion relating to the sale of their D&G and Dolce & Gabbana brands to a holding company in Luxembourg in 2004. "We were certain! We are honest people!" tweeted Gabbana following the verdict, given on October 24.
Mulberry finally got a new creative director: Poor old Mulberry, it has had a horrible time since former creative director Emma Hill left back in 2013, languishing rudder-less in a state of poor finance. But thankfully, this year has bought some good news to the Somerset-based brand-finally they have a new creative director, and a very promising one at that.
