Flavors of Peru

"If you drink a third pisco sour," says Peru's Ambassador Juan Carlos Capunay, "you may not remember your name afterward."

Maybe so, but we'll remember the food at the ongoing Peruvian Food Indulgence, a festival of that Latin American nation's hearty and savory fare in Beijing.

The piquant fare makes Peruvian restaurants among the trendiest in Shanghai and Hong Kong, but there's not one in Beijing - yet.

The festival, with the Kerry Hotel kitchen helmed by guest chef Marco Quispe, wraps up with brunch buffets this weekend: 388 yuan per person, 498 with free-flow champagne.
