In this interview, Dr Huang Ping shares his opinion on the implications and significance of the leadership transition in China and in the United States. On the re-election of President Obama to the 18th Party Congress, Dr Huang believes that there will be changes as well as continuity in the relationship between China and the US. The biggest challenge for both countries would be how to manage, maintain and improve the relationship. Dr Huang also talks about the key messages of the 18th Party Congress in Foreign Policy, the US pivot to Asia and Obama's recent visit to Myanmar.
