Thirty four red-covered certificates, five medals and four diplomas—these are the proudest collection of 32-year-old Hao Lun—a Beijing man who is taken both as a model of blood donor and an excellent AIDs volunteer in the city.

However, this widely commended man has lost his job for more than seven years. This young man was once a football fan, but now, most of his days are for net games and hopes of a miserable future.

A hero or a tragedy, he has no answer himself.
