It's been 5 days since Xinjiang's International Grand Bazaar in Urumqi reopened after the July 5th riots. And the tourists are coming back.
About 4,000 stores and three pedestrian malls are back in business. Shop owners say they're confident about Xinjing and look forward to a prosperous future.
On Saturday, a large theatre in the bazaar also welcomed its first visitors. Tourists say they are glad to be here.
The bazaar is one Urumqi's ten most famous landmarks. The city receives millions of tourists each year.
