Tens of thousands of book-lovers greeted the opening of the 20th Hong Kong Book Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Billed as the largest book fair in the Chinese-speaking world, the six-day event features more than 500 exhibitors, renowned writers, publishers and more than 200 cultural events. The book fair has become one of the city's top destination event and a favourite summertime attraction for families and students.
The fair runs until July 28.
