US President Barack Obama has given his much-anticipated speech to the Muslim world at Cairo University, aimed at repairing US ties with the Islamic world.
Obama promised to begin new relations with the Muslim world that were strained by his predecessor, George W. Bush. He says he wants to cooperate with the Muslim world on a series of difficult issues on the basis of mutual trust and respect.
