China's Agriculture Minister Sun Zhengcai says there has been no AH1N1 virus detected inside the body of pigs.
He also says pork is still safe to purchase and eat. Sun Zhengcai points out that this new AH1N1 virus is a mixture of human, pig and bird strains. And that it is different from the previous influenza virus.
The WHO has changed the name -- Swine Flu -- to the AH1N1 virus. The minister stresses that the transmission of the virus has nothing to do with consuming pork, and that eating pork is still safe.
