It was an unforgettable day on Tuesday for the students of Heyu Primary School away in the northern suburbs of the Chinese city of Guangzhou. One day before the NBA China Games in Guangzhou, NBA stars past and present visited the school to donate a basketball court and a library to the students.
As part of the "NBA Cares" programme, dozens of students of the school played basketball with their NBA guests.
As one of the major areas for its global development, the NBA has been putting a lot of effort into nurturing the Chinese market. On Tuesday, Golden States Warriors captain Stephen Jackson said he and his teammates were happy to visit the school.
