“I love to dream, I feel free when my brush touches the paper” says Chinese painter Yang Yingying.
Her work has the rich flavor of traditional Chinese painting, also the deep meaning of folk culture. She hopes to share her life experience and express her well wishes through her work.
Born in 1954, her father, a well-known painter in China, has influence her a lot.
Yang Yingying was often sick when she was young, and by drawing traditional Chinese children, it was as if she also wanted to feel the happy childhood which she did not have.
With the opening of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, she held an Olympic themed exhibition spreading good wishes, through her work.
