are contributing to the eart hquake-affected areas, and non-communist political parties in China are doing their part.
Members from the Zhigong Party Beijing Council are showing their love for the quake-hit areas by selling their calligraphy and paintings and donating the income to the quake-hit areas.
According to a Xinhua report, members of China's democratic parties, people without party affiliation, religious personnel, business owners and overseas Chinese had donated nearly 8 billion yuan ($1.14 billion) to quake-affected areas by the end of May.
