Christmas and the New Year are both traditional times for families and friends to gather and celebrate. Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace is offering "ChrisTEAmas Fantasy" which will feature lovely tea creations, exciting lucky drawings and fabulous live entertainment during the cheerful season.

The Red Orange restaurant will immerse guests with its elegant tea gourmet (RMB888($145) per person) with a splendid buffet dinner and free flow champagne, wine, local beers and juices with highlights of Pate Foie Gras with Jasmine Tea Jelly, Asian Tea Spiced Salmon Loin, Green Tea Shrimp, Steamed Grouper with Chrysanthemum Abalone Sauce and much, much more.

The Sun Palace Chinese Restaurant, on the contrary, is planning to indulge guests with Cantonese tea wonders with a set menu (RMB788($129) for two). Starting with the Chrysanthemum Jelly and Osmanthus Gherkins Yam, tea fragrances will dominate palates, while Blue Berries Yogurt with Green Tea Mocha will bring guests the ultimate in perfection.

Elite packages are also available at RMB 2,388 ($390) including two dinners and one night on Christmas Eve and two breakfasts on Christmas Day. Meanwhile, guests can also participate in a lucky drawing to win secret prizes. Just a suggestion, round trip between Beijing and Xishuangbanna, plus a three-day stay, would be a great way to spend this Christmas Eve.
