Software dealers seek cooperation during the annual meeting for the China Software Trade Channel, part of the China International Software and Information Service Fair (CISIS) in Dalian, Liaoning Province.
The coastal city of Dalian has experienced rapid development in the software industry in last ten years. The city's sales revenue in this field is expected to reach 92 billion yuan this year, up 30 percent compared with that of the previous year.
The export value will also hit $2.8 billion, increasing by over 22 percent. More than 130,000 people are employed in the software industry in Dalian.
Nearly half of the cooperative partners at this fair come from Japanese companies, with the hopes of furthering collaboration with Chinese firms.
