Born in 1983, Yang Liu has learning difficulties. She works as a librarian for the municipal association of the disabled. She has made many friends there.

Yang said what is needed was not sympathy but equal treatment. Yang lives and works like any member of the community and she enjoys making a contribution to society.

Yang Qingfeng was born in Cangzhou, Hebei province in 1981 and is visually impaired. He learned acupuncture and tuina in Beijing Union University. Later he trained as a broadcaster and now works as the director of a broadcasting program.
