Before I was hired by this company, I was asked to have training as a condition of employment. According to the law, on this occasion, the employer does not have any obligation to pay for the training because it occurred before you were hired. I must pay for any courses or degrees required for the job. However, I heard that some employers have education reimbursement programs that will pay all or a portion of education costs related to a current employee's career field.
