Kunming dedicated its first "Noctilucent Park" on Sept 17, immersing people in a fairyland night view.
A mid-autumn party was also held that night generating nostalgia under a bright moon.
The lights around the park's buildings depicted a 3-dimensional scene from the Yunnan Image by using forty laser projectors and over ten thousand LED lights.
The water under a stage reflected the beautiful shadows of the performers, and a manmade lotus floating in the middle of the lake changed with the music.
There was an artificial moon on the water of the park’s western area, suggesting "moonrise over the sea".
According to the park's management director, the noctilucent park is scheduled to open from 7 pm to 10 pm on Fridays, weekends and national holidays.
