The Silk Road Economic Belt–Xinjiang Karamay Forum, honored as the “Davos Forum in West China”, is held in Karamay city in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The government of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences jointly hold the Karamay Forum. Curtain rises on Karamay Forum in Xinjiang The 2016 Silk Road Economic Belt- Xinjiang Karamay Forum, honored as the “Davos Forum in West China”, convened in Karamay.
Xinjiang Karamay Forum stimulates international cooperation Karamay Forum is expected to facilitate Asian and European counties’ economic and cultural communication.
Guests deliver key-note speeches at the Karamay forum (Ⅱ) Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim League gave a speech on China-Pakistan cooperation.
Karamay Forum signs 60 b yuan worth of contracts Xinjiang Karamay Forum came to a successful conclusion in Karamay with 28 contracts worth an estimated 62.57 billion yuan ($9.43 billion) being signed.

Karamay holds China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Forum Karamay in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region held the 2015 China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Forum on Aug 11.
China, Pakistan sign MOUs worth $1.6b China and Pakistan signed 20 memorandums of understanding (MOU) valued at 10.35 billion yuan ($1.62 billion) on Aug 12.
