A group of 240 tourists from Singapore arrived in Hubei's Wudang Mountains on Oct 21 by charter flight directly from Singapore to Wuhan for a one-and-a-half day trip in Wudang. It was the first tour group to visit Wudang by charter flight, as well as the largest overseas group Wudang has ever received.

The group, mostly elderly people, was fascinated by Wudang's picturesque scenery. Despite the steep mountains and dangerous roads, the tourists visited all the wonders in Wudang. Wudang's martial arts also attracted much attention, as the guests learned qigong (a series of deep-breathing exercises) from a coach.

Since this year, Wudang has invited more than 50 travel agencies and media groups to visit the scenic spot. In July, the Wudang Mountains tourism bureau came to Singapore to promote Wudang's tourism. In the future, Wudang will continue to strive to promote tourism and expand its market.
