On Sept 24, 2014, at the invitation of the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle (DFCV), six martial arts members of China’s Wudang kung fu troupe participated in the 65th Hanover Commercial Vehicle Auto Show. It was the first time for DFCV to participate in the Show. Its exhibition booth occupied an area of approximately 700 square meters. The booth was decorated in bright colors, and its layout was simply designed. The specially arranged Wudang kung fu performance attracted a great number of visitors and media.

At the exhibition, Wudang kung fu drew extensive attention from the auto dealers, suppliers, and media from both home and abroad, and it made DFCV's booth a spotlight at the same time. The brands of "Wudang" and "Dongfeng" complemented each other, and highlighted the two name cards of "famous mountains" and "auto town" of Shiyan city in Central China’s Hubei province.
When the week-long Hanover Auto Show winds up, the six martial arts members will go to Alicante in Spain where they have been invited to participate in the opening ceremony and a series of road shows of the "2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race", a yacht race around the world held every three years.
The Wudang martial arts’ brand continues to rise in value. It has become the first option for Shiyan, or even Hubei province to recommend in foreign cultural exchanges. It also plays an increasingly significant role in the field of economy and trade.
