Third Wudang International Summer Camp starts

The third Sino-France Wudang Taijiquan (tai chi) International Summer Camp opened on Aug 12 in the scenic area of the Wudang Mountains. More than 30 children from both China and France have come to experience the unique charm of the holy mountains.

Wang Jie, general manager of Wangdang Xiazhou International Travel, the host of the summer camp event, said that this year’s camping activities will include Taoism tea tasting, French-style handcraft making, mountain climbing, and viewing of martial arts performances.

Wang mentioned that their team has hired Wudang martial arts masters to give martial arts trainings during the camp. She said she’s sure that the children will fall in love with Wudang. The activity will last for six days.
