Last year, a branding video of Wudang Mountains in Central China’s Hubei province was broadcast at Times Square, and the promotion will continue this year, showcasing the mysterious Taoist mountains to the world, wudangshan.gov.cn reported on March 19.
This year, the branding video of Wudang Mountains will be broadcast 30 times a day at Times Square, which is also known as the “crossing of the world,” and is expected to bring more foreign visitors to Wudang Mountains.
With the objective of becoming a world-famous tourist attraction, Wudang Mountains improved its marketing strategy in recent years. Through branding promotion, network marketing, preferential tourist policies, and tourist cooperation, Wudang is expanding its industrial chain, enriching tourism products and improving tourism facilities.
So far, there are nearly 7,000 foreign disciples learning kung fu in Wudang Mountains every year, and the number of foreign tourists has surpassed 200,000, according to official statistics from the tourist attraction.
