Shaolin monk Yi Long visits Wudang

The Shaolin monk Yi Long recently visited Wudang Mountains in Shiyan city, Hubei province, after he finished shooting a TV drama, wudangshan.gov.cn reported on Jan 4.

Yi, 27, who was born in Shandong province, found fame after defeating rivals from Japan, Thailand and other countries in various competitions.

During his visit, Yi and a Taoist priest from Wudang Mountains showed their skills as outstanding swordsmen, and then Yi mentioned the priest on Weibo, praising his technique. He also spoke highly of his trip in Wudang, especially the scenery.

Many Weibo followers discussed Yi’s trip in Wudang, with some praising his skills and perseverance, and others wondering when he would once again take part in martial arts tournaments.
