Visitors at the China (Wuhan) Periodical Fair, which was held at the Wuhan (Hanyang) International Convention and Exhibition Center from Sept 14 to 16, also had the opportunity to enjoy a Wudang kung fu show, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

A total of 1,500 domestic and international kung fu enthusiasts showcased their skills during the three-day show, an initiative of the magazine Wudang.

And the magazine also held a celebration for its 30th anniversary.

The organizers of the show aimed to promote Danjiangkou and Wudang Mountains, in central China’s Hubei province, as tourist destinations.

The 34th Wuhan Real Estate Trade Fair was also held at the center, at the same time as the periodical fair, and a total of about 700,000 visitors attended the two events.

The exhibition hall covered an area of 10,000 square meters, and the periodical fair attracted representatives of thousands of domestic and international magazines, newspapers, and other media organizations including new digital media, as well as tens of thousands of journalists and editors.

The periodical fair was organized by the State Press and Publication Administration of Radio, Film and Television, Hubei Provincial People’s Government and China Post Group Corporation.
