Wudang Kung Fu Group performs in universities

The “Wudang Culture Enters Universities” campaign, which aims to introduce Wudang Kung culture to major universities throughout China in the next five years, is underway in Shaanxi province , until May 22nd.
The campaign features the Chinese Wudang Kung Fu Group which will perform in five universities in Shaanxi: Chang’an University, Shaanxi Normal University, Northwest A&F University, Xi'an University of Posts and Telecom and Xi’an Jiaotong University.
Wudang Mountain is a world cultural heritage and a national 5A scenic spot, and is well-known due to its connection to Chinese martial arts and Taoism culture. Presently there are more than 7000 overseas visitors learning martial arts on Wudang, and Wudang Kung Fu schools have been established in many countries around the world.
Chinese Wudang Kung Fu Group is the only professional team that specializes in performances of Wudang Kung Fu. There are 98 members of the team, some of whom have won top prizes at international martial arts competitions. Since its establishment in 2003, the group has performed in more than 50 countries and districts, and has been a valuable tool in the promotion of Wudang culture.
