Wudang opens 4D cinema in geological museum

The 4D cinema in the geological museum of Wudang Mountain received the first groups of visitors on August 31. The cinema is the first 4D geological cinema in Shiyan city. It has a total area of 80 square meters and can hold more than 40 visitors. Wudang district invited the Academy of Arts & Design from Tsinghua University to design the cinema. The district also produced a 10-minute animated film to popularize the museum and help visitors learn more about it.

The film introduces the process of dinosaur reproduction, evolution and extinction and shows geological development and biological evolution in the Triassic Period, Jurassic Period and Cretaceous Era.
