Wudang launches a news conference

The Shiyan municipal Party committee, Shiyan government and China Evening Newspaper Journalists Association (CENJA) will organize a conference in Wudang from July 9 to 13 to celebrate the 600th anniversary of Wudang Mountain.

80 evening paper offices nationwide such as the Yangcheng Evening News, Beijing Evening News, Wuhan Evening News, Yangtse Evening Post, and Chongqing Evening News are expected at the event. More than 120 editors and journalists are expected to attend to appreciate and experience Wudang culture.

CENJA organizes such conferecnes at different events every year; for example, they held one in the 2012 Shanghai Expo and in Xinjiang autonomous region.

The event will consist of an opening ceremony, reports of celebrated editors and journalists, and tours of the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle assembly plant and Shiyan Museum, and also a visit to the Golden Peak, the Rock (Purple rock), and Xiaoyao Vale on Wudang Mountain. In addition, the journalists will pay a visit to the Danjiangkou reservoir, the mid-point of the North-South project.
