Wudang received 3.4 million visitors in 2011

The Wudang Mountains received 3.4 million tourists as of Dec 10, 2011, almost half a million more than expected. It will attract at least 4 million visitors in 2012, since this year marks the 600th anniversary of Wudang Taoism's rise.
