Located in Shizui town, Wutaishan city of North China’s Shanxi province, Bixia Temple is a quadrangle building with a stage, three ancient pine trees and more than 10 rooms.
Mount Wutai has the earliest Chinese Buddhist temple constructions, which can date back to as early as the Yongping regime of the East Han Dynasty (58-75AD).
Guanghua Temple is situated in the north of Yingfang village in Taihuai town, North China’s Shanxi province.
Zunsheng Temple sits 20 kilometers north of Shanxi's Wutai county. It was built in the Sui and Tang dynasties, and was rebuilt in the Song Dynasty as well as the early Republic of China.
Zhulin Temple sits in the west of Zhulinsi village, six kilometers southwest of Taihuai town, North China’s Shanxi province. It was founded by Fa Zhao, an eminent monk in the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907).
Bishan (Verdant Hill) Temple gets its name from it position at the foot of Yedou Peak, North Top, where it is surrounded by verdant mountains, 2 km to the northeast of Taihuai.
