The second "I'm Maker" Robot Competition was held in Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Zone on Oct 13.
The robot competition included four parts: STEAM, sumo wrestling, football and belt and road programs, with 132 entries from seven cities in Shanxi province rivaling each other. There were nine first prizes, 13 second prizes, and 24 third prizes in the event.
According to Jin Shanmei, director of Shanxi Robot Association, some of the winners will be selected to take part in the 2018 International Youth Robot Competition in Bangkok, Thailand on Nov 29 on behalf of China.
